THIS PRICE IS AN ABSOLUTE STEAL!!! What a great liveaboard this would make. It is huge like a Trawler or Houseboat with a very spacious interior and exterior design. There are two staterooms and two heads. It has the configuration you would want for a big boat. Twin inboards, upper and lower station. It just came in trade and it’s in pretty good shape. It has been in the upper Hudson River for as long as I can trace it, 150 miles north of salt water. I have & will include a brand new in the box Hummingbird 755C GPS Navigation System with chartplotting and a brand new in the box JBL MR17 180 watt marine grade CD AM / FM Sirrius stereo. It has been hauled and is winterized, blocked, and shrinkwrapped in Catskill, NY. There are some lines, fenders, some PFD’s, etc. It could use some new carpet in the main salon (some stains), maybe just a throw rug or runner, or maybe a nice teak laminate or whatever you choose. There is a small area at the front window on the inside where the wood trim was compromised from a little rain water leak. It is minor and cosmetic. The cabin sides, bridge, deck, are all solid fiberglass. It is a very solid, substantial, and presentable boat. This was before there was any blister problem with Uniflites, and they were eventually purchased by Chris Craft in the eighties. The engines start right up, run and shift great. They are fresh water cooled Chrysler 440′s. I have not started the generator. It was allready winterized when it came in trade. There is an hour meter on the helm that reads 117 hours, and I am not sure what that relates to. I can not make any representation on hours, generator or mains. The marine air blows nice and cold. There is no fridge in the galley. I will include a 110volt at no cost if wanted. There are no rips or tears in the flybridge upholstery. The bimini is new and covers the entire aft decking, which has some large sitting areas. It would be easy to canvas enclose for lots of extra room. This boat has very good walkaround, so it is safe and easy to get forward. The rails, cleats and ladders are all bedded well, sturdy and strong. There is lots of natural light in the interior. It has a ships bell mounted on aft deck, twin 30 amp shore power services with cords, large sturdy swim platform, capable of holding a dingy, depth, speed, and water temp from the bridge, all Morse controls, teak companionway door, VHF at lower helm, separate shower stall in forward head, fender racks, etc… I have a clean title. The boat has an NADA book value wholesale of well into the 20′s. You will only be able to find this model in 1974 NADA category. 36 Double Cabin. The retail value is over $30,000, without adds for options. Check boat trader and check out what these boats go for, not even in fresh water use like this one. It needs some minor cosmetic tinkering inside, & you can really score it, well under book and current market!! Don’t be afraid to run any offer with or without a trade by me. I recommend having it marine surveyed if you have concerns about condition. They cost between 300 – 500 dollars. It is located about 150 miles north of NYC in Catskill Creek. It was just hauled out of the water last week. You will have to call me for an appointment to see it. I’m usually only 10 minutes away during the business day. The bridge has to come off to transport it over the road. It can go anywhere in the world by water. We can launch it into the Hudson River for you this spring. I have not paid for the winter storage yet, which with winterization and shrinkwrap runs about $1800. It depends on our deal as to who pays for that. It is currently shrinkwrapped. If you need it transported, please get some prices yourself first. I really don’t have time to research it for you. I can give you some help if needed, or give you my best guess. I have some experience at it.
Following is the generic description of who I am and what we do. I ran the Boat-N-RV Outlet, a discount franchise of the Boat-N-RV family of Superstores. Our company has several locations up and down the East Coast. I have closed the capital district retail location, and we now sell on ebay and wholesale from our storage facility, located at 9497 Rt. 22, Granville, NY. We have several other storage locations in the area, so be sure to check where a piece is located before you show up to see it. In addition, we represent inventory in all our stores, including Tennessee, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New York. Everything that we sell on eBay is as-is, except if I noted differently above. Just ask. If you require shipping overseas, please check on the prices as best you can from your end before involving me to assist you in the quote. We have very aggressive FINANCING on items 10 years old or newer, as our company does a significant volume of retail business (over 100 million US dollars) with our banks. I will absolutely consider ANYTHING IN TRADE, AND I MEAN IT. Don’t be shy. Just be realistic about the value. We will use all our resources to ensure our evaluation is fair, and our resources are extensive. We have been doing this for a lot of years and will put a real number on absolutely anything, i.e. cars, trucks, boats, RV’s, bikes, ATV’s, power sports, heavy equipment, inventories, tools, collectibles, antiques, livestock, real estate, planes, trains, ANYTHING! I am not an expert in all that, but I’ll know someone who is. I handle the eBay sales of specialty pieces, trade-ins, overstocks, leftovers, repos, demos, etc… from the organization, and I will deal personally with you throughout the transaction. I am proud of our feedback rating, selling and shipping mostly big ticket motor vehicle / recreational type items worldwide, some over ½ million dollars. I would be glad to tell you why the only two unhappy customers I have had ended up that way. Customer # 1 purchased a used Class A motor home for less than 4000 dollars and got mad when it thru a belt on his way back to Connecticut. I was sorry. Customer # 2 purchased a Class A motor home for under 5000 dollars, wanted to work on it before driving back to Florida in it, and then changed his oil in our yard without using a pan. Boy was I mad. I should have had him arrested. We all learned lessons each time. My pledge is to make every attempt to do the right thing. You do the same and we will have a great transaction. The name is Geof (Jeff) Hoffman, and my cell phone is 518-378-8058. Call anytime to discuss anything relevant, including offers, pre-negotiating, and trade appraising. I will work my schedule to fit yours. We are always open and appreciate the opportunity to earn your business!!!
