 2003 Ferretti custom line
112′  Like new.

I am posting this mega yacht "Celebration" for a friend, who is buying a larger yacht. It is not often that you see such a good looking mega yacht for sale on eBay. And then again, these are not normal times. Some of us know that this is a unique time to upgrade our yachts.

One lucky boater is going to have a mega yacht for an amazing price. To quote my friend: “First reasonable offer will get this mega yacht”.

I had the pleasure of riding this yacht. I can tell you that I have never seen a better kept and cleaner yacht then “Celebration”.

The yacht is docked in Italy. For a US buyer, my friend will pay for ocean shipping to the east cost of the US, at closing.

Make an offer. You never know !!
All deposits are refundable and contingent upon your final approval.

Captain’s Report

It’s a little challenging to describe the feeling of going
32 miles an hour on a 112-foot megayacht. That’s because there
is so little OF it…feeling, I mean. There we were in 20
knots of wind and 3-foot seas, racing along but it felt like
we were almost standing still. The engine room is so far away
from the Star Treky pilothouse, and the construction is so
rock-solid, there was almost no noise at the helm. No pounding
or slapping like you’d expect on a 40-footer. No…nothing.
Just smooth riding..and that’s exactly what Ferretti had in
mind when it designed the 112–which is an "express"
megayacht if you will–and the largest in the company’s Custom
Line.
The 112 was built for discriminating yachtsmen who understand
Italian styling and craftsmanship, AND who want to get to
where they’re going in a minimum amount of time. Speeds like
this are virtually unheard of in the mega yacht world, but the
112 can get you to your next port of call in perhaps half the
time of a traditional mega yacht. Read more

Accommodations And Amenities

As you’d expect, the 112 comes with just about every imaginable amenity
for comfortable cruising, and there are so many items that move
electrically, its hard to keep track of all the remote controls.

Starting aft, there’s an enormous trunk that housed a 12-foot RIB on our
test yacht. About the only thing that could be controlled electrically and
wasn’t was the deployment of this tender, which is manually rolled aft on
stainless steel rails where she is then hoisted and lowered by a Bezansoni
davit on the flying bridge. There’s ample room here for a dive compressor
and related gear, and a doorway leads down and aft to the engine
compartment below. Other electrically actuated items include a
starboard-side, teak-tredded stairway that lowers to perhaps 5 feet
underwater to retrieve snorkelers and divers, and a Bezansoni passarelle
to port for easy on/off access when Med moored.

Stepping aboard, there’s a large covered dining area for eight just abaft
the curved, stainless-steel rimmed doors leading into the salon. These
doors open automatically with a motion sensor, and a flat-panel LCD TV
(one of many) flips down from the overhead for alfresco TV/DVD watching in
the fresh air.

Of course, the 112 is semi-custom so you can get the interior layout and
treatments you’d like, but our yacht separated the main salon into two
areas. Aft was an L-shaped lounge across from the fully equipped wetbar,
and forward was the dining area for 8.

Moving forward, a hallway to port leads to the galley, as does a second
one to starboard. The galley is in an L-configuration, and seemed to have
two of everything. Two dishwashers, two Subzero undercounter refrigerators
and freezers, two ovens, plus one regular side-by-side refrigerator. And
what megayacht galley would be complete without a wine cooler and Italian
marble counter tops.

Well to port a small stairway leads down and forward to the crew’s
quarters, which are luxurious in their own right. The captain gets his own
stateroom with ensuite head/shower, as does the first mate/engineer. Up in
the forepeak there are two more cabins with upper/lower bunks, plus two
more head/shower combos. There’s also a small lounge area upon entry with
a compact but fully functional galley, and two washer dryers. Clearly,
your crew will be well taken care of here.

As far as you and your guests go, our yacht had the VIP stateroom just
forward of the galley. It ran full beam with his’n'her ensuite facilities
and a shared, marble-floored shower stall along with two walk in closets
and vanity.

If you like to sleep aboard while running, the 112 has great news for you.
The master stateroom is amidships and on the lower deck for a super-smooth
ride, again with his’n'her ensuite facilities. "Hers" includes a
Jacuzzi tub as well, and there’s plenty of drawer and closet stowage
throughout. Just forward, twin guest staterooms each have their own double
berths and ensuite heads with showers, so all together there are 8
staterooms aboard..four for the guests and four for the crew.

Flying Bridge

You don’t really get a feel for how big the 112 is until you walk up a few
steps from the pilothouse and up to the flying bridge. You look waaay aft
down a single-level teak deck, past the outside galley, past the hot tub,
and back to the aft deck sun lounge which has room for a much larger
tender than the one housed in the transom locker. The view forward is
equally impressive, and there are also engine controls on the starboard
side of the aft deck for easy docking.

So is the 112 Custom Line perfect? Well, you might bump your head going
down the stairs from the aft deck to the engine room, and the floor of the
pilothouse extends down into the galley, cramping overhead space on one of
the countertops, but those considerations pale in comparison with the BIG
one…you’ll have a really hard time trying to find another megayacht
that’s willing to race you.–Capt. Chris Kelly.
