270 Buccaneer SailboatBuy it now for $2500.00 and I will include storage at the current marina through fall 2012 or cover the cost to load it on your trailer.I bought this boat a few years ago and really enjoyed it,  I started to sand the exterior hull (previous owner did a poor quality paint job) with the intent to repaint (pictures are before sanding – now looks like primer red) it red and use an epoxy paint for shine and durability.  Well after having a new baby and changes in my work schedule I never had the time to finish it.  For now I decided to list it and see if it sell since I am not sure I will be able to enjoy it this summer as well.  If it doesn’t sell then I will move it to my shop and slowly finish the painting and shoot for next season.  The boat has 2 head sails & a main.  No stove in the galley, just a single burner add on,  Has a forward berth, head & shower, table, etc. has newer 2 depth sounders, marine radio, etc.  The boat is fun to sail but should be painted and cleaned up in my opinion.  Hull and deck is solid, deck does some spider cracks but not too bad, rudder is made from plywood and should be redone. 9.9  Engine not included unless sales price exceeds $1500.00 Any bids above that will include the engine in the purchase for free.  I was going to rewire it and switch to LED lighting as well but never got around to it.  Why spend $80k on a new boat this size when  you could enjoy this one for a fraction of the price and same amount of fun!   Figure 2-3 weekends of cleaning and sanding and painting then it’s ready to go in the water and played with.  Please note there is NO TRAILER, NO STANDS, NO CRADLE.  Boat is located on Lake Ontario so you could sail it almost anywhere that has access to the Great Lakes, Erie Canal, Etc.Info Below Found Online

The BUCCANEER 270 is the same as the 277 but without a diesel inboard engine.

Boat is sold “AS-IS” in it’s current condition with NO warranty implied,  Boat is used, may have scratches, dirt, faded paint, need cleaning or minor maintenance as most boats do.  As with ownership of a boat the buyer is responsible for storage, insurance, maintenance, transporting, registration and any other fee’s that would be expected in the ownership of a boat of this size.  If you need to have it transported by land you can figure unless you buy a trailer for it (used around$1500-2500 if you look online) that a professional transporter could charge and average of $.75-$2.00 per mile to move it.  Expect to have a storage obligation of around $600.00 or more.  Marina’s generally charge based on a season or a year and different locations may charge up to $1000 per season or year or more. There may also be expenses related to loading and unloading a the boat with the lift if it is not going into the water but onto a trailer instead.  $750.00 deposit is due within 24 hrs of auctions end and balance in full is due within 4 days of auctions end in valid US funds. Buyer may be required to sign a storage agreement with the marina & provide contact information.Please only bid if you intend to pay!
